On Monday evening, March 22, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m., Assembly Member Jaime Williams, Council Member Alan Maisel and I are hosting a virtual (Zoom) information session on backwater valves for homeowners. Backwater valves are devices that prevent raw sewage from entering a home due to a sewer system blockage or flooding
We will have experts on hand from Center for NYC Neighborhoods and NHS Brooklyn to provide you with information about a new state-funded program to assist eligible homeowners install backwater valves. This program is only for a limited number of applicants. Join us to learn how to apply!
