According to YIMBY, a 14-story mixed-use building is coming to 268 Barbey Street in East New York. The lot is located on Barbey St. between Atlantic Avenue and Liberty Avenue, and is just four blocks east of the Van Siclen Avenue subway station, serviced by the J and Z trains.

The proposed 145-foot-tall development will yield 336,373 square feet, with 238,649 square feet designated for residential space, 30,192 square feet for commercial use, and 5,238 square feet for community facilities. The building will have 336 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 710 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a cellar and 46 enclosed parking spaces.
