This week’s segment of VOICES of East New York with Nikki Lucas, featured a Livestream Discussion on East New York Health & Wellness with guests, Congressman Ed Towns and Dr. Barry Smith, the President of Dreyfus Health Policy & Research Center.
They discussed a new Community-driven campaign, ‘Rise Up East New York’, which focuses on the prevention of chronic illness, such as kidney disease, diabetes, obesity and heart failure, as well as the overall health of the community.
