East New York Development Continues As 7 Story Building Prepares To Replace A 2 Story House

If you ever walked past this house at 341 Shepherd Ave, in East New York, between Glenmore and Liberty Avenues, and wondered how it would look as a 7 story building, well you are about to find out.

According to YIMBY, permits have been filed for a seven-story residential building to replace the small 2 story house on Shepherd Ave. The  lot is two blocks north of the Shepherd Avenue subway station, serviced by the A and C trains.

The proposed 70-foot-tall development will yield 22,031 square feet, with 17,318 square feet designated for residential space. The building will have 26 residences, most likely rentals based on the average unit scope of 666 square feet. The concrete-based structure will also have a 36-foot-long rear yard and five enclosed parking spaces.
