Upgrade Your Workplace Skills with Metrix Learning & Lynda.com At The Saratoga Library On Saturday, December 23rd

“Are you looking to improve your skills to make yourself more attractive to employers in your job search? Come to find out more about Brooklyn Public Library’s online learning platforms, which allow you to take skill-building classes in many subjects without paying hundreds of dollars. These include:

Metrix Learning System, a site that lets you rate your skills and choose courses to build your skills in the job market

lynda.com, a site with educational videos focused on technology and business skills

Attendance at an information session is required to gain a license to use the Metrix Learning System. Basic Internet skills and a BPL library card are required for all learning platforms. The Business & Career Center is presenting this program.

*Please note: Attendees must be present for the entire session to receive a Metrix license. Please plan to be present for approximately 1½ hours.

Please be sure to be on time to avoid missing important information.

Registration is required for this program.”
