Come to find out more about Brooklyn Public Library’s online learning platforms, which allow you to take skill-building classes in many subjects without paying hundreds of dollars. These include:
Metrix Learning System, a site that lets you rate your skills and choose courses to build your skills in the job market
lynda.com, a site with educational videos focused on technology and business skills
Attendance at an information session is required to gain a license to use the Metrix Learning System. Basic Internet skills and a BPL library card are required for all learning platforms. The Business & Career Center is presenting this program.
*Please note: Attendees must be present for the entire session to receive a Metrix license. Please plan to be present for approximately 1½ hours.
