Thomas Jefferson Basketball Coach Bud Pollard Says South Shore and Canarsie Coaches Were Scared to Play His Team

On the premiere of the livestream NYCSN Sports Talk Show Tuesday night, Coach Lawrence “Bud” Pollard talked about keepng his team in place during the pandemic and how hard Jaquan Carlos worked, making him one of the best players in PSAL basketball. The key moment of the show was when Pollard talked about how the South Shore and Canarsie coaches were scared to play Thomas Jefferson, which is why they didn’t face them this year.

Pollard said first South Shore didn’t want to play outside and when the PSAL gave all sports the okay to play in the gym, Pollard said South Shore’s coach didn’t want to play in the gym either.  Watch the interview below.
