The New York City high school basketball playoff season begins Tuesday Feb, 26, 2019. If you get a chance, take some time out to checkout the guard duo, of Kareem Welch (senior) and Jaquan Carlos (sophomore) from Thomas Jefferson High School, in East New York, Brooklyn.
Welch was this year’s PSAL scoring leader, averaging 36 points and grabbing 9 rebounds per game during the regular season, and Carlos averaged 22 points and 7 assists per game.
Thomas Jefferson gets a BYE for Round 1, but you will be able to see this dynamic duo for Round 2, as they wait to see who they will play.
