” This workshop will introduce library patrons to digital libraries, and their role in encouraging open access for all users. Throughout a seven-week session, participants will be introduced to the three of the largest of such organizations, including the Internet Archive. Participants will understand the relationship between digital libraries and universal access, learn about the importance of the public domain, understand how to complete complex searches, and apply the information for their leisurely and scholarly needs, including downloading materials. Rising high school seniors are also encouraged to attend.
*Space is limited to 12 seats, so registration is required.*”
