This building, located at 212 Hegeman Ave, in Brownsville, is being constructed through the Supportive Housing Loan Program of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) and the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) Program of New York State Homes and Community Renewal (HCR). Supportive housing is permanent, affordable housing with on-site support services to serve the needs of the most vulnerable New Yorkers, including the formerly homeless and disabled. Sixty percent of units in the building are supportive housing units set aside for low income or formerly homeless individuals or families with special needs, who are referred by city agencies. 29% of units in the building are made available to the public through lottery.

    To post an article on Dec 12th about housing application availability that ended Dec 5, was this a mistake or have the deadline been extended.

    I just received a notice with a past due deadline? Please tell me this was extended but not that I was sent something past due so I wouldn’t be able to apply
