For the second year in a row, AlphaCare sponsored the Healthy Holidays event for seniors, at the Gateway Center Mall. Over 400 seniors attended from various senior centers throughout East New York and Canarsie. Some of the senior centers included Vandalia, Van Dyke, Seth Low, and more.
Senator Roxanne Persaud, Female District Leader Nikki Lucas, and Assemblyman Charles Barron were in attendance. The Jeff King jazz band played live jazz throughout the event, and refreshments were provided by Shop Rite and BJ’s.
