Today it was announced that Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield will be joining JIG Media in the 3rd Annual HealthyNYC Expo in East Brooklyn. The partnership will also include the HealthyNYC Expo that will take place in Central Brooklyn for the first time.

Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield will be joining Bright Health, Zwanger-Pesiri Radiology, VNSNY, and over 35 other partners.

“This year the HealthyNYC Expo has expanded to include Central Brooklyn, and we will eventually produce over 20 citywide Expos each year”, stated Vernon Jones Sr, CEO of JIG Media, which is the company that produces the event. “We are happy to have Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield partnering with us once again, and it’s great that they see the benefits and have agreed to partner with us on all of our remaining events for 2019. They will also be with us at our New York for Seniors Health and Wellness Series, which has become a citywide series that now includes Harlem, Queens, the Bronx and Brooklyn. Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield will also be offering free workshops at our events, educating attendees on how to navigate aspects of the healthcare system. We will announce details of the workshop in the coming weeks. I want to also mention that our events are free for the public to attend.”

The HealthyNYC Expo in East Brooklyn will be held at the Brooklyn Sports Club, Saturday September 7, 2019, from 10am to 3pm, and the HealthyNYC Expo in Central Brooklyn will be held at Berean Baptist Church, Saturday October 19, 2019 from 10am to 3pm.  The event is free and open to all residents of New York City.
