East New York Mourns Loss of Dennis Taylor A Dedicated Community Advocate

Posted By NYC Newswire

This week East New York lost a true community advocate, Dennis Taylor, who passed away unexpectedly during what seems to have been a routine colonoscopy procedure. No further details are available at this time. See Dennis’ bio below.

Dennis Taylor’s wife, Mrs. Anita Joyner-Taylor told EastNewYork.com, “Dennis was a servant leader and believed in service for his family and community. He taught me, as well as those around him, the importance of giving your time or financial support to those who are in need. I thank God for the years I had with him.”

“I recently met with Dennis for lunch, along with another community member, Carlos Bristol, to discuss the state of East New York and how we can work together to make positive change for homeowners, renters and small businesses. Dennis was always advocating for a better East New York. He will be missed,” stated Vernon Jones Sr., Founder of EastNewYork.com.

“Mr. Dennis Taylor was heavily committed to our community. He used his resources and position to help provide opportunities for others. He encouraged building positive relationships and growth. I am Thankful that I was a part of the journey that God laid out for him.
May God Bless Your Soul  and continue to provide favor to your family because of your genuine kindness to others.” stated Nikki Lucas, Community Advocate and 2021 East New York City Council Candidate.

“Dennis Taylor was a friend and mentor, and the ultimate statesman. He was loved by his community and loved his community with all his heart. He will never be forgotten and always admired. He was my big Bro and will be sorely missed”, stated East New York Community Activist, Chris Banks.
