Brooklyn Independent Hip Hop Artist KOTA The Friend Fresh Off Tour and Day in Vegas Festival Is Featured in London Magazine

KOTA the Friend, the independent hip hop artist from Brooklyn continues to get global recognition. He was recently featured in London’s Notion magazine. ‘A Day in the Life of KOTA the Friend’.

KOTA is fresh off his U.S. and International tour that took him across the United States and internationally, through Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Milan, Paris, London, Manchester and Copenhagen.

Most recently KOTA performed at the Day in Vegas Festival, a festival that included J. Cole and Kendrick Lamar. If you happen to be in Australia in February 2020, then you can catch KOTA at his shows in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Auckland. See Australia Tour Dates.

We came so far. I just touched down in Italy. It seems like yesterday i was making music in my moms basement and tryna gain followers on soundcloud. No money, no resources and no one tryna help me or put me on. Blood sweat in tears went into this. I remember when the life seemed hopeless. People ignored my messages and emails because they didn’t think i had it. That was back when i gave a f*ck about blogs and magazines posting my music. We’re selling out shows all over the country, all over the world independently. People are singing these songs word for word. You can do anything if you work for it. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Thank you to everyone that bought a ticket, listens to my music and shows me love!
