We are excited to announce AENY’s partnership with BMS Family Health and Wellness Centers for ARTsPlosion 2017 Community Tree Lighting Ceremony, one of the season’s first tree lighting ceremonies in East New York, Brooklyn featuring a day of vending, a cultural trolley tour, town hall panel discussion, toy giveaways, children’s arts and crafts and a performance by Shahadi Wright Joseph playing young Nala in Disney’s The Lion King hosted by ARTs East New York.

The event commences with a performance by Shahadi Wright Joseph, who is playing young Nala in Disney’s 2019 remake of The Lion King. Additional performers include Pure Elements, AENY Kids, The Hand Arts & Edutainment, Dance Atlantic and more.
