Apartments include studio to 3 bedrooms, with rents ranging from $426 per month to $1,660 per month.
Rent rates are based on your income and family size. (See the chart below)
Qualifying New Yorkers can apply to be placed on the waitlist at Nehemiah Spring Creek until June 17, 2019. Residents of Community Board 5 in East New York will be given preference for 50 percent of the units. The details and links to the application can be found here.

The sad thing about this is the fact that those of us making less than $16k per year are discriminated against. With all of the apartments that come up every month, affordable rents begin at $16k and up. What is wrong with us? I only get $13,400.00 per year in SSDI, Guess we are third class citizens!
