Janice Chen, candidate for Kings County Civil Court Judge, has reached a significant milestone in her campaign, officially submitting over 10,000 signatures from Brooklyn residents. The announcement marks a major show of grassroots support and community engagement across the borough.

According to a media release from her campaign, Chen stated, “I’m proud to share that our campaign has officially submitted over 10,000 signatures from community members across Brooklyn in support of my run for Kings County Civil Court Judge.”

Over the course of the petitioning period, Chen personally connected with voters in neighborhoods throughout Brooklyn, listening to concerns and sharing her vision for a more just and equitable court system. “Throughout the petitioning process, I’ve had the honor of speaking with thousands of residents throughout every part of Brooklyn, listening to their concerns, hearing their stories, and feeling the strength of a community that cares deeply about justice and fairness,” she said in the release. “I’m incredibly grateful for every person who stood with me, signed a petition, and helped move this campaign forward.”

The campaign attributes its momentum to the efforts of countless volunteers and supporters. “I want to thank the volunteers, supporters, and neighbors who have shown up for this campaign. Your belief in me and in a fairer, more accessible court system is what makes this journey possible,” Chen added.

With the petition phase now complete, Chen’s campaign is preparing for the next phase of the race. “Stay tuned — we’re just getting started,” she said.
